Sometimes I like big projects. Last year I decided that it was time for a large scale photo shoot in which the ladies would dress up as wild animals and the guys as zookeepers. Six weeks of costume making, model fetching, and crazy organizing later… the Cardboard Zoo happened. It was no easy feat. I spent the day convincing the Law (also known as the Pittsfield Police Department) that it is totally cool for me to invite friends over to take pictures. Who knew it could be so complicated?
Big thanks to Bill Wright for shooting the zoo and to all the models who helped with this project.
I took the images from the photo shoot and turned them into paper dolls. These are a couple pics of the dolls clustered on my wall.
