I have been spending a lot of time in my new studio/gallery space.

About a month ago, the real life home of Pittsfield Contemporary Dot Com opened its doors to downtown Pittsfield.

The storefront is divided into two rooms. The first room is a gallery featuring affordable art and serving as a meeting house for artists, geeks and random visitors. The second room is studio and workspace for myself with my masks, the painter: Douglas Truth, and Umbrella Digital which is Jay Elling, Joe Wilk and Joe Durwin acting as web geeks and marketeers.

This first month in the new space has been a great experience of talking with visitors about what we are up to in providing a place for art and meet ups. I have also really loved watching people interact with my masks.

I had really grown out of my old workspace (my dining room) with monster heads piling up all over the place. I took advantage of this opportunity to build a little workspace where lately I have been spending all the time I have available.
