Morningside Community School was built in 1974 in the heart of the Morningside neighborhood in Pittsfield. Mill Town Foundation recognizes that the school is a hub of the community, and investing in the school will better the neighborhood. Mill Town invited me on a walk through with the administration of the school, and when they asked if “I could make this place look like a place for children” I set out to design some quick, new signage for the school. I didn’t want to create any challenges for installation or implementation, so I kept it simple. The school community has shared such nice feedback about this project. I am so happy to be able to brighten their days.
